Rakim the God Releases

I've been following Rakim for a few years mainly listening to the Paid
in Full Album. When you listen to it, it's hard to believe the album was
released in 1986. While Rakim seems to be looked at as a trend setter
in terms of style and delivery, his career seemed to taper off during
the early/mid 1990's. Although he is still making music that I enjoy, it
seems doubtful that he will ever reach the peaks of success seen by a
few other early MC's/producers like Dre and Ice Cube.
That being said, from the interviews I've read with Rakim, he seems to
be happy just leading a normal life while still making a living in the
art form he became involved in 20+ years ago.
